Richard Scheele, CFP® CFA
Managing Partner
As Managing Partner, Richard is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm, the coordination of the firm’s resources, and the execution of strategic planning and initiatives.
Richard graduated from Carleton College in 2011 with a degree in American Studies and spent the next year teaching in Minnesota with a license in secondary Social Studies. He had a particular interest in the problem-solving skills and decision-making tools of the economic way of thinking, which led him to pursue a career in the financial planning profession to help clients understand and take control of their financial decisions. As the firm has grown Richard has moved into a management role where he gets to use problem-solving skills and decision-making tools to helps the rest of the team be in the best position to serve clients.
On a Personal Note
Richard lives in Appleton, Wisconsin with his wife, Jackie, and their three children Nathanael, Hadassah (Haddie), and Benjamin. When he is not spending time with his family, Richard enjoys playing games of any kind, cooking, exercising, and watching movies. Richard is also an avid football fan with his primary allegiance to the Nebraska Cornhuskers since birth, but has also adopted the Green Bay Packers due to marriage and geography.
